TGIF! I’m so relieved it’s the weekend, as I’ve got building to do and hikes to climb! Hopefully somewhere in there I’ll find time to rest too. One thing you should definitely add to the weekend plans is seeing the movie They Came Together. It’s directed by David Wain, and written by him and Michael Showalter. It’s starring Paul Rudd and Amy Poehler – practically a  Wet Hot American Summer Reunion- only different and not that. This movie is a spoof of all romantic comedies but with a sweet story.

As you know work has been crazy, but thankfully last night I was able to escape early enough to see the movie Obvious Child at the ArcLight. I LOVED it. Jenny Slate is perfect in this role. The movie is a modern day romantic comedy, but more true to life than your classic rom-com. Every role was well casted, and it’s full of Jenny Slates actual stand-up, which is always hilarious.
