Also tonight is the creepiest/coolest thing I’ve read about in a while. Great Horror Campout happens tonight and Saturday night from 8pm-8am in LA’s Historic State Park in Chinatown. You’ll be lucky to make it through the night (sort of like every night in LA). This is a frightening campout, click the link to read about it and get tickets.

Saturday June 1, 2013 11a-11p is Make Music Pasadena! This is an awesome technically free ($5 suggested donation) event that takes over Pasadena once a year. There are so many stages and bands performing, that even just walking the whole route is good exercise/people watching/ a good taste of the event. Plus you can see some of the adorable shops in Pasadena that are off the main drag. Click HERE to see the full program and map of the stages.

Is that enough activity for one weekend? I could always find more stuff…

Weekend Guide November 3 + 4

Here’s what up on Saturday and Sunday this weekend! Get out of the house this weekend, as we are flying through 2012. Did I mention it’s November?

Check out the Independent Label Market today from 11a -4pm where youll find all sorts of music on sale. Why not take a risk and buy a cd of a band you’ve never heard before? Maybe they’ll be your new favorite band.

If comedy is more your style, Stories Books & Cafe is hosting Two Headed Beast tonight with Brandon Walsh, Alex Koll and others. It’s free…

Also free is the Haunted Saturday Funday Ride today from 3:45 -7:30, hosted by the LA Bicycle Coalition. Meet up at The Georgian hotel in Santa Monica, where the trek will lead you on a 16 mile haunted tour of Los Angeles.

I wrote about seeing Nick Offerman’s show at Largo a while back and part of that show was hearing the music of Nancy + Beth (featuring Meagan Mulally). They were fabulous. Such great musicians. For $30 you can see them perform a show of their own at Largo at 8:30p. I promise you’ll enjoy the show.
