Kurt Braunohler’s dreams are becoming reality. He started his Cloud Project Kickstarter months ago and on Saturday it culminates with his skywriting performance. For the record, Kurt is not the pilot, but he did create this project and is seeing it through. If you’re on the East side, look up at 3:33pm to see the skywriting. If you can make it downtown to Perch, you should join Kurt’s rooftop viewing party!

Tonight The Satellite is celebrating Neil Hamburger’s 5th year aniversary with a special comedy packed show. Comedians include Jon Daly, Andy Kindler, Rob Delany, Brody Stevens, Marcus Monroe, Josh Fadem, and more. Tickets are cheap for a full night of laughs.

Tonight at 8pm Russell Brand has a stand up show at Largo. He’s an excellent performer and the Largo is a great setting to see him work his magic. Tickets are $25, which is pricy for me, but Russell is great live and you’d probably end up spending that much on parking, popcorn and a movie at the Arclight. It’s all about perspective people.
