Weekend Guide August 31 + 1 + 2

It’s Labor Day Weekend! Are you sticking around LA this weekend, or leaving on an adventure? My parents are coming to town so we will be taking a trip outside Los Angeles. In fact it’ll be quiet here for a couple of days, because I wont be free until Tusday night. I also owe you a mount Whitney post…  it’s coming, I swear! Alright, let’s get into it!

What: Ladies Night Out  (event website)
Where: Starts at the intersection of Hollywood Way and Magnolia, in Burbank
When: 6-9p

FYI: This is a music event, but it also has a comedy tent. In fact, David Cross (who hardly performs in LA) will be there!! Out of the zillion comedians I write about and see live, he’s the only one I have not seen. Be luckier than I, and go check him out! This event runs Saturday and Sunday.

FYI: My sister saw this play a few weeks ago and LOVED it. She (who is a theater guru- and flies to NYC for the weekend just to see plays) says it should be on Broadway. Check it out before it does go to Broadway! _________________________________________________________________________

SUNDAY August 19:

What: Comedy of Errors (event website)
